Chasing the Legend. By Greta Elizabeth Muirhead

One stormy day three young girls named Iris, Talia and Ariana lay fast asleep in a tiny orphanage dreaming about having a home.

When they woke up at exactly eight o’clock, the got dressed in long white dresses and then they put on their special jewelry, Iris had a sparkly pink heart necklace on a silver chain, Talia had a gorges sea blue bracelet,Ariana had a pretty ring as orange as a flame. Then they scrambled down stairs at top speed to eat breakfast. (The usual scrambled eggs and bacon and sometimes toast with jam.)

When Iris,Talia and Ariana finished eating they went to the store to pick up a loaf of bread, tomatoes, lettuce and some milk to drink when they ate lunch when they got back.

After lunch Talia asks the headmistress if she, Iris, and Ariana can play at the park until dinner. The Headmistress said yes wich at the orphanage is a big deal if you get to go outside for fun.

When they got to the park the stone figures they are carved out of stone like Abraham Lincoln and Marie Antoinette started chasing and screaming after the girls about their birth and saying things like you are princesses of another dimension and that they had magical powers.

As soon as the girls finally escaped they ran at top speed back to the orphanage and told the Headmistress they needed to know about their birth.

The Headmistress was not sure she should tell them about their birth but she finally agreed After being talked into it. And so the story began…

One stormy night in the winter I heard babies crying at the door of the orphanage and so I put on my bathrobe and ran to the door and when I opened the door I saw three cute babies with red golden and brown hair. Said the Headmistress. I took you three into the orphanage as fast as I could. when I got ya’ll in I wrapped you guys in and warm blankets fresh from the laundry room. When I unwrapped your blankets I found a letter in each of your blankets with a royal seal on the envelope. Except the royal seals looked nothing like I had never seen before.

I opened the envelope in Iris blanket first and found a letter that said. Who ever lives here please take good care of my little princess Iris and when she is three please give her this necklace. In every letter I read it always said the same thing except it said a diffrent name and peace of jewelry.

So do you know our mother ‘cause if you do tell us RIGHT NOW!!! shouted Ariana at the Headmistress.OK, OK if I know anything about your Mother she is named Rose Amara Valdez and is 30 years old + she has pitch black hair and lives in New York City.

Well I guess we better start look’in for her or we will never find our Mother Rose Amara Valdez!!! So the girls ran to the library and all went to a computer but just as Talia found a match the power went out and Ariana, Talia and Iris lost all their hard work. When the power came back on Iris and her sisters all jumped back onto the computers and after two whole hours of searching they finally found what they were looking for.

Iris, Talia and Ariana found their Mothers match…

They found out that their Mother lived at number 12 privet drive in room 808 in a apartment building and then booked three seats on the next plane to New York City. It would be an adventure for the girls but if it ment finding their long lost mother then it would be worth it.

When Iris, Talia and Ariana got to New York the caught a Taxi and drove from the airport to number 12 privet drive ran all the way up the long twisting staircase to number 808 the banged on the door and when the door opened they saw their Mother Rose Amara Valdez they all ran to her and gave her a big hug and as soon as the girls let go Rose said oh my dear girls you came back to me!!!

Then Iris asked Mother were is the other dimension that we are princesses of??? Oh said Rose you want to see it now??? Yes Mother we do mother!!! the girls chanted. Very well thier Mother replied of to Tinall land of the three!!! and they were of to their land were they were to be welcomed warmly by their people.

                        THE END
